Surface Mount Preparation
The growth in SMT production over recent years has created issues with the supply of Surface Mount components in a kitting format.
First Electronics, following close consultation with our customers, has developed processes which now mean that all SM components can be supplied as part of the kitting process.
Reeled SMT components are re-reeled to the required quantities and supplied with an agreed level of lead in and wastage based on the customers specific requirements.
Other SMT components are also supplied with an agreed level of wastage to cover any machine assembly issues.
The level of component loss and wastage is therefore completely costed and managed to provide an effective solution.
